The N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T., under the NAIC LCHT Legal Shield License-licentiate, with training in Holistic Services, Native American Religion, biblically based Humanitarian Services, and nutrition has been vetted and authorized through adoption and training to serve the Indigenous and Native American Indigenous Church community. The NAIC L.C.H.T. may instruct and guide individuals and groups in natural nutrition and physical health improvement programs, including study groups to learn Christ-centered, Mother Earth-based instruction for physical, mental, and spiritual health. The L.C.H.T., with basic training in SomaVeda®, Native American Indigenous Church, Humanitarian Services, Religious Therapeutics, Holistic Medicine, and or bible-based mental health counseling, may serve as spiritual counselors to assist individuals and groups. The L.C.H.T. with ministerial/ ceremonial training may serve as an Ordained Minister/ pastor and conduct all rites, rituals, therapeutics, or ceremonies which they are instructed or authorized by N.A.I.C. to perform, including, but not limited to, weddings, funerals, last rites, anointings, physical interventions, laying on hands, sacred flesh offering-piercings and blessings.

The NAIC L.C.H.T. may also serve as an assistant in a professional Spiritual/ Pastoral Medicine setting Humanitarian Aid Mission or Service, much like the licensed vocational nurse serves to assist the professional nurse (RN) or the doctor. For purposes of this Act, one college credit hour equals 15 clock hours. Study/education must be specifically targeted to the physical, mental, or spiritual components of the N.A.I.C. Humanitarian Aid Mission or Service model or general education encompassing all three areas. The Commission may be restricted to the specific area of education or maybe for general practice if the education meets standards in all three areas (physical, mental, and spiritual) of N.A.I.C. sacred, Christian Monastic, Bible-based, Christ-centered holistic natural medicine, ministry, and religious therapy. As an example, if the LCHT’s education and N.A.I.C. certification is largely Native American, Indigenous Religious Therapy, and or Religious Holistic counseling, the applicant may be issued a commission for counseling. The commission may be restricted to nutritional counseling if the applicant’s education focuses on Sacred Nutrition. This letter is proof of Licensure/Licensure Commission with Full N.A.I.C. Ordained Ministerial/ Clergy Privilege of the above-referenced individual effective date of issue and is valid unless canceled or rescinded by N.A.I.C. Inc. Church and Tribal Organization L.C.H.T. Authority.

NAIC LCHT Authorized Scope of Practice, Standards of Practice

The N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T. Licentiate-License with training in SomaVeda®, Indigenous Native American Religious Therapeutic, and biblically based nutrition may instruct and guide individuals and groups in food, nutrition, and physical health improvement programs, including study groups to learn Mother Earth-based instruction for physical, mental and spiritual health. The L.C.H.T., with basic training in SomaVeda®, Native American, N.A.I.C., and Bible-based mental health counseling, may serve as a primary essential spiritual counselor to assist individuals and groups. The L.C.H.T., with ministerial/ ceremonial training, may serve as a minister, pastor, clergy, or religious humanitarian aid services counselor. The L.C.H.T. may also assist in a professional Spiritual/Ministerial/Pastoral wellness, therapeutic, or counseling setting, much like the licensed vocational help to assist the professional nurse (R.N.) or the doctor. For this one Act, one college credit hour equals 15 clock hours. Study/education must be specifically targeted to the physical, mental, or spiritual components of the N.A.I.C. SomaVeda® Sacred Healing modalities or general education encompassing all three areas. The commission may be restricted to a specific area of education for general practice if the education meets standards in all three areas (physical, mental, and spiritual) of N.A.I.C. sacred holistic natural medicine. If the applicant’s education focuses on nutrition, the commission may be restricted to nutritional counseling, etc. For example, if the course is mainly Native American, N.A.I.C., or SomaVeda® counseling, the applicant may be issued a commission for counseling.

NAIC Authorized Adjunct Modalities with LCHT Minister personal waiver. NAIC L.C.H.T. Licensees may augment or add to the core scope of practice by special exemption on a case-by-case, individual basis. Please note that N.A.I.C. ministerial, pastoral, clerical massage (Chirothesia, Anointing)  and or religious trial, pastoral, clerical hands-on healing is by definition the practice of Religious Therapy- Chirothesia, i.e., “Laying on of, “hands,” extending divine energy and or anointing the body with sacred medicines as a direct represent “active of the spirit” and in no way refers to the secular practice of “Massage” and or “Massage Therapy” a nonspiritual practice of rubbing the body for money as defined by various state laws. N.A.I.C. Members do not hold “themselves to be practicing Massage and or Massage Therapy or any regulated secular, non-indigenous, non-Native American, non-ecclesiastical, nonchurch authorized practice unless separately licensed to do so.

N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T. License-Licentiate providers:  DO NOT see or provide services to the Public. N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T. provides private specialized ministerial services and counseling exclusively by and to N.A.I.C. Authorized members.

Active N.A.I.C. APM membership is required for any consultations and or services, exchanges, etc. (The title “C.H.T., L.C.H.T.” is displayed under religious privilege)

N.A.I.C. requires that all Authorized Licentiate-Licensed Commissioned Holistic Therapists (L.C.H.T.) have a minimum of N.A.I.C. Approved Seminary Education in the spiritual principles of Native American and SomaVeda Integrated Traditional Therapies® and an approved equivalent. The minimum educational requirement shall be a SomaVeda® (N.A.I.C. American College of Natural Medicine/ SomaVeda School of Ayurveda: Thai Yoga Center CTP1, ALC, AHC, TCP + 100hrs or NAIC Authorized qualifying course of seminary instruction. Of supervised practice. And or an A.C.N.M. Graduate College Degree, which requires LIVE class attendance.), or who holds at minimum a high school education and who has received a minimum of 700 hours of training in one or all of the holistic physical, mental, or spiritual (pastoral/ ministerial/ clerical/ priestly/ religious) areas of human health and wellness., plus 100 hours of documented Clinical practice, or equivalent level of personal instruction under the authority of a Certified SomaVeda® Teacher either in class or by private lesson and apprenticeship. Complete verification of all transcripts, Certifications, and diplomas will be required before any Commission, Licentiate, or Authorization is issued.

All N.A.I.C. SomaVeda® courses and programs over 700 hours in class may qualify. We believe that to be informed and practice responsibly, all N.A.I.C. Members share a common understanding of our spiritual healing principles. N.A.I.C.s are restricted to only those competencies they have training and approval to practice, evidenced by one or more certifications in N.A.I.C. Seminary/ SomaVeda® Approved Courses and Programs.

N.A.I.C. Hunka Ceremony (Tribal Adoption) Additional Requirement: All N.A.I.C. Authorized LCHT Licensees-Licentiate holders must be formally adopted into the N.A.I.C. Tribal Organization by N.A.I.C. Elders via our “Hunka” or Tribal Adoption Ceremony (Native American Indigenous Church- N.A.I.C. Religious Ceremony #13) in person, with no exceptions.

The N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T. Vocational Licentiate-License Authorization Documents and member card allow you to become a member, participate in our ceremonies, and assist us in sharing the Native American Indigenous Culture. Becoming a member can join in the land’s healing, therapy, counseling, rites, and sacraments. You have constitutional rights listed in the N.A.I.C. Legal Affairs and Compliance section. Please read and understand them, as law enforcement will most likely be unfamiliar with them. Laws vary from state to state, and you must understand your legal right to participate in the sacraments of the N.A.I.C.

N.A.I.C., L.C.H.T. Tribal Organization Legal Compliance

Attention, PLEASE NOTE! The N.A.I.C. does not have a legal fund to defend you but does have all of the documentation to support you in your earnest desire to participate as the spirit dictates, so long as it does not infringe upon the rights of others and is by the N.A.I.C. mission statement and Authorized Participant Rules.

To receive the N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T. Authorized Licentiate-License Commissioned Holistic Therapists (L.C.H.T.) from the Native American Indigenous Church and its stand to honor the traditional vocation of healer, therapist, Chirothesist, pastor, minister, cleric, medicine man or woman by whatever name or spiritual path one follows as a firmly held belief and legitimately practiced, one is required to read, study, understand and agree to the N.A.I.C. Code of Ethics and N.A.I.C. Authorized Participant Member Agreement (A.P.M.A.). Reading and agreeing to the A.P.M.A. is a precondition for acceptance as a Member. The formal N.A.I.C. Ordination Certificate (suitable for framing) identifies you as an N.A.I.C. Minister and Clergy, authorizing you to perform all legal ministerial ceremonies such as weddings, funerals, baptisms, handfasting, vow renewals, etc.

PLEASE NOTE! The N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T. Document is a Professional Vocational Commission and or Therapeutic Licentiate License. It must be fairly and accurately presented to the N.A.I.C. members/ clients/ communicants. The N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T. Licentiate ONLY covers the actual competencies and appropriate scope of practice approved at issuance. It and the privilege it represents must be honored at all times.

Please Note: You will be asked to agree that you have read and understand the Code of Ethics and present appropriate certifications and transcripts from approved programs to obtain an N.A.I.C.-L.C.H.T. Licentiate.

Penalties for violations: Title 18, U.S.C., Section 242 Deprivation of Rights Under Color of Law

This statute makes it a crime for any person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully deprive or cause to be deprived of any person those rights, privileges, or immunities secured or protected by the Constitution and laws of the U.S.

This law further prohibits a person acting under color of law, statute, ordinance, regulation, or custom to willfully subject or cause to be subjected any person to different punishments, pains, or penalties than those prescribed for punishment of citizens on account of such person being an alien or because of their color or race.

Acts under “color of any law” include actions not only done by federal, state, or local officials within the bounds or limits of their lawful authority but also acts done without and beyond the bounds of their lawful authority, provided that, for unlawful acts of any official to be done under “color of any law,” the criminal acts must be done while such official is purporting or pretending to act in the performance of their official duties. This definition includes, in addition to law enforcement officials, individuals such as Mayors, Council persons, Judges, Nursing Home Proprietors, Security Guards, etc., persons bound by laws, statutes, ordinances, or customs.

Punishment varies from a fine or imprisonment of up to one year or both, and if bodily injury results or if such acts include the use, attempted use, or threatened use of a dangerous weapon, explosives, or fire, shall be fined or imprisoned up to ten years or both, and if death results, or if such acts include kidnapping or an attempt to kidnap, aggravated sexual abuse or an attempt to commit aggravated sexual abuse, or an attempt to kill, shall be fined under this title, or imprisoned for any term of years or life, or both, or may be sentenced to death.
